Gardening & Landscaping Services Inner West Sydney

GARDEN DESIGN, LANDSCAPING, HORTICULTURE, PRUNING, PAVING

Every Inner West home comes with a garden of some kind. It might be a rear courtyard behind a terrace, an established front garden, or a larger backyard shaped by decades of planting. Whatever the shape, the care and design these gardens need are the same.

We’ve been providing gardening and landscaping services across the Inner West since 2010, working with the clay soils, the microclimates, and the plant palettes these suburbs are known for. Whether the job is a full design build, weekly maintenance, or a horticultural consultation, the same qualified team handles it end-to-end.

Gardening and landscaping services across the Inner West

Our services split into five main areas, and most clients end up using more than one. A design job often becomes a maintenance client. A consultation often leads to a build. Whichever service you start with, the team you meet on the first visit is the team you’ll work with throughout.

Garden maintenance

Ongoing garden care is what keeps a garden in good shape over time. Our regular garden maintenance visits cover pruning, hedging, weeding, mulching, and lawn care across the seasons, with plant health checks to spot issues related to pests or disease built into every visit.

One-off clean-ups are also available for gardens that have been let go, or for properties being prepared for sale. Either way, the aim is a proper reset rather than a surface tidy.

Garden design and plant selection

A good garden design starts with the site: soil, aspect, sun and shade, and how the space will actually get used. Plant choices follow, with species matched to conditions rather than what looks good in the nursery.

We take a long-term view. Plants are chosen to grow to the right size for the space and stay healthy with minimal intervention, so the garden gets better over the years rather than harder to maintain.

Landscape construction

A well-planned build supports what is planted around it. Every landscape build we take on covers paving, decking, retaining walls, garden beds, turf, and irrigation. The hard landscaping goes in with the same attention to plant health that runs through our design and maintenance work.

Horticultural consulting

Not every job needs a full service. A horticultural consultation on its own is often enough, providing qualified advice on plant health, soil condition, and the direction an established garden should take.

Consultations are useful when a plant is not thriving, and you want to know why before replacing it, or when you have inherited a garden and are not sure what to keep and what to change. Either way, you get a practical view of the garden and a clear plan for what to do next.

Strata gardening and landscaping

Strata common areas need consistent care and clear communication. We manage strata gardens and outdoor spaces across the Inner West, with regular maintenance, planting, and garden improvements.

Larger projects can include landscape upgrades, new planting and complete renovations, with clear scheduling and communication to keep strata managers informed throughout.

Where we work

We work across Sydney’s Inner West, from waterfront terraces in Balmain and Rozelle through to the clay-heavy suburbs around Stanmore and Petersham. Each area has its own garden character, and we know how to work with what each suburb brings.

FAQs What We Do

Can I book a one-off job, or do you only take on ongoing clients?

One-off visits are available for clean-ups, garden resets and specific jobs, while regular maintenance suits clients who want consistent care throughout the seasons. There is no minimum ongoing commitment beyond the work you book.

Do you work on residential and strata properties?

We work across residential and strata properties, from small terrace gardens and family homes to shared gardens and common areas. Maintenance schedules can be arranged around the needs and routines of each property.

How quickly can you start?

Maintenance work can usually begin within one to two weeks, depending on availability. Design and build projects are scheduled according to their scope and our current workload, with timing discussed after the initial site visit.

What's the difference between garden maintenance and horticultural consulting?

Garden maintenance covers the ongoing physical care and upkeep of your garden. Horticultural consulting provides qualified advice on areas such as plant health, soil condition and the overall direction of a garden, with or without ongoing maintenance.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before I get in touch?

You can get in touch with an initial idea, even if you are unsure what your garden needs. We can assess the space with you, discuss how you want to use it and recommend an approach based on the property and your priorities.
